Experience the best of the Nahanni River by raft or canoe, the ‘quick’ way! Starting at Náįlįcho (Virginia Falls), these trips take in the spectacular canyons of the lower river.

Nahanni Classics

These two week canoeing adventures start at Gahnįhthah (Rabbitkettle Lake) and include three days of paddling the Nahanni to Náįlįcho. This section will give you extra hiking and good canoeing practice before reaching the faster flowing river sections below Náįlįcho. The Classic trips are a great immersion in Nahanni country.
