If whitewater is what you are after, the Łáhtanįlį Deé (Little Nahanni River) will be sure to please. Starting at ‘Flat Lakes’, the Little Nahanni offers 85km of the most technical paddling of all the Tehjeh Deé (South Nahanni) tributaries. This is an excellent trip for confident, experienced whitewater paddlers.

Although smaller than the upper stretch of the Tehjeh Deé (South Nahanni), it has similar volume and is generally narrower, with steeper drops. There are three canyon sections requiring scouting and likely lining or portaging.
