If whitewater play is what you are after, our special ‘triple play’ takes in three of Tehjeh Deé (the South Nahanni River) headwater tributaries.
Start with 150 km on Pı̨́ı̨́p’enéh łéetǫ́ǫ́ Deé (the Broken Skull River). One week later, get picked up by float plane at Gahnįhthah Mįe (Rabbitkettle Lake) and flown up to the next headwaters, Nááts’įhch’oh Tué (the Moose Ponds), for the Rock Gardens stretch of Tehjeh Deé (the South Nahanni River). Last but certainly not least, fly to the headwaters of Łáhtanįlį Deé (the Little Nahanni) to finish with one and a half weeks of the most technical paddling of all.
This is an excellent trip for confident, experienced whitewater paddlers who have four weeks to dedicate to pure whitewater fun!
