I’ve been part of the Black Feather team since 2015, and since the birth of my son Will have expanded into the roles of Social Media Coordinator and Community Outreach Coordinator. River travel has been a staple of my adult life, and with Black Feather I have guided many of the Ontario and Quebec classics, as well as rivers in the Yukon, NWT and Nunavut. My journey into canoe tripping started on the lakes of Algonquin Park and soon grew to include whitewater, with time spent rafting and kayaking internationally gaining more skills. I love being outside, teaching and playing outdoors, and am a Paddle Canada and Canoe Kayak Canada instructor trainer for kayak and canoe. When I’m not working with Black Feather, I’m ski patrolling at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, near my home in Golden, B.C. Wherever I am, I’m pulled back to the mountains, lakes and rivers in this magnificent country we call home. I look forward to sharing these with you!
