My name is Jake and I have been happily guiding for Black Feather since 2015! In this time I have had the pleasure of guiding trips in Ontario, Quebec, the Yukon, the NWT, and Nunavut! I grew up white water paddling and before guiding for Black Feather I spent the majority of my summers out on the land in some way or another and my winters cross country skiing! When I’m not on trip I’m either paddling, skiing or fishing.. I love meeting new people and getting to know people from around the world has definitely been one of the best aspects of guiding these past summers! Rivers hold a very special place in my heart and the opportunity to share my excitement for wild places is what keeps me excited to come back each year! I truly love being outside and look forward to seeing you on the river this summer!
